1996 has often been overlooked by many Port producers, but at Quevedo our main Quinta’s grape quality was exceptionnal and we are not shy to present you this exceptionnal Colheita. This Colheita displays vast arrays of flavours, perfect to celebrate a landmark date.

Light brown with hints of orange
The nose offers secondary nuances of nuts, caramel, maple syrup, toffee, and pralines.
Subtle, it is blessed with great acidity and the finish is long and infused with nuts and caramelized flavors.
Touriga Franca (35%), Tinta Roriz (20%), Touriga Nacional (15%), Tinta Barroca (10%), Tinto Cão (8%), Others (12%)

A very wet winter motivated vines to produce quantities well above average. A dry September then brought to the wine aroma and balance. Hand-harvested grapes from Quinta Vale d’Agodinho vineyard. This is an iconic family-owned vineyard, field blend, dry farmed and terrace pleanted on the shore of the Douro river in Ferradosa area; fermented on the native yeasts followed by two years of ageing in stainless steel tanks. Once most of the natural decantion is finished, this Port was moved to seasoned oak balseiro and casks until bottling. Unfiltered. Last bottling was in November 2013.
