A seriously easy-drinking wine. Oscar’s is a wine to open on a Wednesday night. It’s a wine for an impromptu picnic with friends or for the family lunch on Sunday. This rich and bright red wine is packed with juicy black currant and berry fruit notes, firmly integrated into the dense structure.

Deep ruby with purple hint, medium saturation
Intense notes of dark berries like blueberries and cherries complemented with a touch of dark chocolate.
Medium bodied, filled with young fruits and a touch of oak, while the finish shows a riper side of the fruits. Tannins are slightly rustic and will mellow after a few years in the bottle.

Viticulture:
Sustainable and dry farming. 2020 was an unusually hot year in all seasons but with sufficient levels of precipitation, giving rise to good, albeit rapid, ripening. The harvest started in August and was short and quick, so that the grapes reached the ideal moment of maturation.
Fermentation:
Low temperature fermentation, pre-fermentative skin maceration to enrich the aromas.
Aging:
6 months, 70% Inox 30% in old French oak (500 liters).
