Winemaking Details
Viticulture:
The growing conditions for the grapes were hot and dry during the Winter, followed by an unusually dry and hot spring and summer. Rain and lower temperatures in early September helped ripeness to finish as the vine recovered from an exhausting Summer. The harvest started on August 24th for the grape for this Q Grande Reserva White.
Fermentation:
The grapes were gently pressed, the must slowly fermented at low temperature during one week in stainless steel tanks, followed by 3 weeks in barrel.
Aging:
The wine remained in barrels during 7 months with battonage once a week.
