The first hands-on orange wine by Ryan Opaz and second by the Quevedo’s team resulted in a lovely and surprising wine. This wine is crafted to express the quality and the complexity that skin contact with white grapes can achieve.
Our Orange wine was made to be your food companion, dry like a red wine, full bodied, smooth and tight tannins, and a complex and very long aromatic finish! For those who enjoy old-fashioned winemaking.

Viticulture:
In 2020, a remarkable year marked by unusually hot temperatures throughout all seasons, accompanied by adequate levels of precipitation, the vineyards experienced favorable conditions for rapid maturation.
Fermentation:
This particular wine was crafted using wild yeasts and underwent fermentation with the grape skins, extracting additional depth and character.
Aging:
Following fermentation, the wine continued to evolve as the skins remained in contact for 14 days. Subsequently, it was aged in a used barrel, where regular battonage was conducted once a week for 5 months, followed by monthly battonage for an additional 7 months.
